Driveway Repair & Replacement

Driveway Repair & Replacement from a crew that shows up

Your driveway takes more abuse than any other concrete on the property. Maybe a crack runs across it and gets wider every winter, the apron at the street has broken off in chunks, a panel cracked into pieces under a delivery truck, or the surface is crumbling after years of salt and rain. At some point you need a straight answer: can this driveway be repaired and give you good years, or is it time to tear it out and pour a new one? Guessing wrong either way costs money.

We give you that answer on site, without the upsell. Our crew has twenty-plus years pouring and fixing driveways across Middle Tennessee, from short subdivision drives to long broom-finish runs up to brick homes. If the slab is sound, we repair the cracks and replace only the broken panels or apron. If it is past saving, we break it out, haul it off, rebuild and compact the base, and pour a new reinforced driveway, wider or longer if you want. Licensed and insured, serving Spring Hill and every town within 30 miles.

What's included

Our driveway repair & replacement services

  • 01

    Driveway crack repair

Cracks are cleaned out and filled with a flexible sealant so water stops getting under the slab and washing out the base.

  • 02

    Panel replacement

A badly broken panel is saw-cut out at the joints and repoured, tied into the rest of the driveway with steel dowels.

  • 03

    Apron and garage lip replacement

The apron at the street and the lip at the garage take the hardest hits, so we replace them on their own when the rest of the driveway is still good.

  • 04

    Full tear-out and replacement

When the whole driveway is failing, we break it out, haul it off, regrade and compact the base and pour a new broom-finish driveway.

  • 05

    Widening while we are there

Replacement is the easy time to widen for another car, add a parking pad or extend a turnaround.

  • 06

    Drainage corrections

If water running across or under the driveway caused the damage, we fix the slope and base so the new concrete does not fail the same way.

Questions

Driveway Repair & Replacement FAQs

Why do driveways fail so often around Spring Hill?

Usually it is the base, not the concrete. Clay soil here holds water through heavy spring rain and shrinks back in dry summers, so a driveway poured on poorly compacted fill settles and cracks. Freeze-thaw and de-icing salt then work on the surface. A replacement done right starts with a compacted base and a slope that sheds water away from the house and off the slab.

Is it cheaper to repair or replace a concrete driveway?

Repair is almost always cheaper up front, and when the slab is sound it is the right call. Replacement makes sense when cracks run through most of the panels, sections have sunk or heaved, or the surface is breaking up everywhere, because patching that again and again costs more over time. We price both options after seeing the driveway, and the quote is free.

How long does a driveway replacement take?

The tear-out, base work and pour usually take a few days, depending on size and weather. You can walk on new concrete after about a day, but keep cars off for about a week and heavy trucks off longer. If the apron ties into a city street, the permit can add a little lead time, and we handle that paperwork.

Can you replace just part of my driveway?

Yes. If the damage is limited to a panel or two or the apron, we saw-cut those out at the joints and replace only them. The new concrete will look lighter than the old at first and gets closer as it weathers.

My driveway sank but is not badly cracked. Do I need a new one?

Probably not. If the slab is still in one piece, lifting it back into place with foam or mudjacking costs much less than replacing it. We check for that on the free visit and point you to the cheaper fix when it will hold.
