Concrete Pads
Concrete Pads from a crew that shows up
A lot of projects stall because something heavy needs a flat, solid place to sit. The storage building gets delivered soon, the hot tub needs a level base before the dealer will set it, the standby generator needs a pad, or the camper sinks into the side yard after every rain. Pavers and gravel shift over time, and a base that is out of level twists shed doors and puts stress on a hot tub shell. A concrete pad poured level and square at the right height takes care of it.
We pour concrete pads of every size, from a small pad for an air conditioner to a long RV pad beside the driveway. Our job photos show the crew finishing big shop pads, and smaller pads get the same prep: soft soil out, compacted stone base in, forms set level, steel placed and a clean finish. We size each pad to the footprint of the building or equipment, leave room to walk around it, and tie RV and parking pads into your driveway so the joint stays flush.

Questions
Concrete Pads FAQs
Why do pads sink or tilt in Middle Tennessee yards?
Clay soil holds water after heavy spring rain, softens, then shrinks in dry weather, and a pad poured on it without a real base moves with it. Pads also tilt when they go on loose fill near the house or on a slope that was never cut level. We dig to firm soil, compact a stone base and grade around the pad so water runs away from it.
How much does a concrete pad cost?
Pads are priced by size, site prep, access and what is going on them. A small HVAC pad on flat ground is a quick job, while an RV pad that needs grading and a tie-in to the driveway takes more. We give you a written quote on site for free.
How soon can my shed or hot tub go on a new pad?
Walking on it is fine soon after the pour, but heavy loads should wait until the concrete has cured enough to carry them. We give you a specific date when we finish, based on the weather and the load. If a building delivery is already booked, tell us at the quote and we plan the pour around it.
What size should the pad be?
At least the footprint of what sits on it, plus room to reach and service it. A hot tub needs space for its steps and cover lifter, a generator needs the clearances its installer lists, and a storage building should follow the builder's foundation spec. Send us the specs and we size the pad to match.
Can you pour an RV pad that connects to my driveway?
Yes. We dowel the new pad into the existing driveway so the two slabs stay level, match the finish as closely as we can, and grade the edges so water runs off instead of under. For a long camper we also look at the turning path so you can back in without cutting across the grass.
