Concrete Removal & Haul-Off

Concrete Removal & Haul-Off from a crew that shows up

Maybe the old driveway is too far gone to fix, the patio has cracked into a dozen pieces, or there is a shed slab, hot tub pad or old pool deck sitting right where you want grass or a new project. Breaking up concrete by hand is brutal work, and even a small slab weighs more than a pickup should carry. You need it gone cleanly, without the rest of the yard torn up, and with the ground left ready for whatever comes next.

We bring the equipment and handle it start to finish. Our crew saw-cuts a clean edge when only part of a slab is coming out, breaks the concrete with a skid steer breaker or jackhammer, cuts the rebar and wire mesh, loads it and hauls every piece away. We protect what is staying, and we leave the area graded and ready for sod, gravel or a new pour, which we can handle too. Customers mention the clean-up as one of the things they notice. Licensed and insured, serving Spring Hill and every town within 30 miles.

How it works

How a removal job works

  1. 1

    Free on-site quote

We look at how much concrete there is, how thick it is, whether it has steel in it and how we will get equipment to it, then give you a quote.

  2. 2

    Locate and protect

Underground utilities are marked before we cut or dig, and we protect the lawn, driveway and anything else that is staying.

  3. 3

We saw-cut where needed, break the concrete into manageable pieces, cut the steel and load it all for haul-off.

  4. 4

    Clean and grade

The area is cleared, raked and graded, ready for new concrete, gravel or grass.

Questions

Concrete Removal & Haul-Off FAQs

What happens to the ground once the concrete is out?

We look at it, because old slabs around here often failed from the soil up. Clay that stayed wet, fill that was never compacted and years of heavy rain washing out the base all show up once the concrete is gone. If you are pouring again, we dig out the bad material and build a compacted gravel base so the new slab does not fail the same way.

How much does concrete removal cost?

It depends on the square footage, how thick the concrete is, whether it is reinforced with steel and how easy it is to get equipment to it. Haul-off is part of the job, so there is no separate dumpster to arrange. We give you a free quote after seeing it.

How long does removal take, and do I need a permit?

Most residential driveways, patios and slabs come out in a day or two. Removal alone usually does not need a permit, but work in a city right-of-way, like a driveway apron at the street, can, and we handle that when it applies.

Will the equipment tear up my yard?

We keep the impact as small as we can. We pick the shortest path in, use equipment sized to the job and lay down protection where we cross lawn or concrete that is staying. If wet ground leaves tire marks, we rake them out before we leave.

Can you pour the new concrete too?

Yes. A lot of removals are the first step of a new driveway, patio or slab, and we handle the whole thing as one job with one crew: break out the old, fix the base and pour the new. That saves you coordinating two contractors and waiting in between.
