Concrete Repair
Concrete Repair from a crew that shows up
A hairline crack has opened up wide enough to catch a heel, the top of the patio is flaking off in patches, or a corner of the front steps broke away and somebody is going to trip on it. Concrete damage rarely stays small around here. Water gets into the opening, the clay under the slab moves with every wet spring and dry August, and winter freeze-thaw pries the gap a little wider each year. Fixing it early, and fixing it the right way, is usually what keeps a sound slab from turning into a tear-out.
Our crew has twenty-plus years in concrete, and repair work gets the same care as a new pour. We figure out why it failed first, then match the fix to the damage: routing and filling cracks in flatwork, injecting cracks in poured walls, cutting out spalled spots and rebuilding them with a bonded repair mortar, and forming up broken step noses and slab edges so they come back square. Customers mention prompt estimates, a respectful crew and a clean job site when we leave. Licensed and insured, serving Spring Hill and every town within 30 miles.

What's included
Our concrete repair services
- 01
Crack routing and filling
We open up cracks in patios, walkways and slabs, clean them out and fill them with a flexible sealant or a rigid repair compound, depending on whether the crack is still moving.
- 02
Crack injection in walls
Cracks in poured basement and foundation walls are injected with epoxy to bond the wall back together, or with polyurethane to stop water coming through.
- 03
Spalling and flaking repair
Where the surface has popped or scaled, often from de-icing salt, we cut the damaged area back to sound concrete and rebuild it with a bonded patching mortar.
- 04
Broken steps and edges
Chipped step noses, broken corners and crumbling slab edges are formed up and rebuilt so they are square and safe to walk on again.
- 05
Joint repair
Failed control and expansion joints get the old filler cut out and new sealant put in, which keeps rain from washing out the soil under the slab.
- 06
Single-panel replacement
When one panel is too far gone to patch, we saw-cut it out along the joints and pour a new one doweled into the concrete around it.

Questions
Concrete Repair FAQs
Why does concrete crack so much in Middle Tennessee?
Mostly the ground and the weather. The clay soil under a lot of yards here swells when it is wet and shrinks when it dries out, so slabs get pushed and dropped over the years. Add winter freeze-thaw and de-icing salt and any open crack or weak surface gets worse fast. Sealing cracks early keeps water out and slows all of that down.
How much does concrete repair cost?
It depends on the kind of damage and how much of it there is, so we price it after we see it. A few cracks to fill is a small job, while spalling across a whole patio or a wall that needs injection is more. In most cases a repair costs far less than replacing the slab, and the quote is free.
When is concrete too far gone to repair?
When the slab is broken into pieces, badly heaved, or the surface is failing over most of its area, patching only postpones the problem. Isolated cracks, chips and spalled spots are good repair candidates. If the slab sank but is still in one piece, lifting it is usually the better fix, and if the whole surface is worn but solid, resurfacing is.
How long do concrete repairs take?
Most repairs are done in a day. Patches and rebuilt edges need a day or two before regular foot traffic and longer before vehicles, and we tell you exactly what to stay off of. Small repairs like these rarely need a permit, and if one does, we take care of it.
Will the repair be noticeable?
Usually you will see some difference in color, because new material never matches weathered concrete exactly. We tint and texture patches to blend in as closely as we can, and a filled crack reads as a clean line instead of a ragged opening. If an even look matters, resurfacing the slab after the repairs gives you one uniform finish.
