Concrete Leveling & Lifting
Concrete Leveling & Lifting from a crew that shows up
A sidewalk panel dropped an inch and now catches every toe. The patio tipped back toward the house, so rain runs at the foundation. A driveway slab sank at the garage door, or the front steps are pulling away from the porch. Most of the time the concrete itself is fine. What failed is the soil under it, which washed out, shrank in a dry spell or was never compacted when the house was built. Lifting the slab back up fixes the problem for a fraction of the cost and mess of tearing it out.
We lift concrete two ways and choose based on the slab and the soil. Foam lifting injects a high-density polyurethane foam through small holes; it is light, sets up fast and adds almost no weight to soft clay. Mudjacking pumps a cement slurry under the slab and fills big voids well. Either way we drill, lift slowly while we watch the slab come up, patch the holes and seal the joints so water stays out. Our crew brings twenty-plus years in concrete to every job, serving Spring Hill and every town within 30 miles.

What's included
Our concrete leveling & lifting services
- 01
Foam lifting
Polyurethane foam goes in through holes about the size of a coin, expands under the slab and raises it, and the slab is usually back in use the same day.
- 02
Mudjacking
A cement-based slurry pumped under the slab fills voids and lifts it, which works well on large hollow areas.
- 03
Sidewalk trip hazards
Raised or sunken walkway panels are brought back even with their neighbors so the walk is safe again.
- 04
Patios and pool decks
Slabs that tipped toward the house or the pool are lifted back to a slope that drains away.
- 05
Driveways and garage aprons
Sunken driveway panels and the dip where the apron meets the garage are lifted level so water stops pooling and the door seals again.
- 06
Steps and stoops
Front steps that settled away from the porch are lifted back up to close the gap.

Concrete Leveling & Lifting: what it can look like
How it works
How a leveling job works
- 1
Free on-site quote
We measure how far each slab has dropped, look for the cause, like a downspout washing out the soil, and tell you whether lifting will hold.
- 2
Drill injection holes
Small holes are drilled through the slab in a pattern that lets us raise it evenly without cracking it.
- 3
Lift and fill
We inject foam or slurry, bring the slab back to grade slowly while checking it with a level, and fill the voids underneath.
- 4
Patch and seal
Holes are patched, joints and cracks are sealed, and we point out any drainage fix that will keep the soil from washing out again.

Questions
Concrete Leveling & Lifting FAQs
Why does concrete sink in Middle Tennessee?
Mostly because of what is underneath. Our clay soils shrink in dry summers and swell in wet springs, heavy rain and downspouts wash soil out from under slab edges, and fill dirt around newer homes can keep settling for years after the build. When the soil drops away, the slab follows it down.
Is concrete leveling cheaper than replacing the slab?
In most cases, yes, by a wide margin. There is no tear-out, no haul-off and no new pour, and the price depends mainly on how many slabs need lifting and how much material goes under them. We give you a free quote on site after measuring.
Foam or mudjacking: which is better?
Both work, and the right one depends on the job. Foam is lighter, uses smaller holes and is ready for use within hours, which suits soft clay and driveways that need to be back in service fast. Mudjacking suits large voids where the added weight is not a concern. We recommend one after seeing the slab and the soil.
How long does concrete lifting take?
A typical home job takes a few hours and is finished the same day. Foam-lifted concrete can be walked on almost right away and driven on the same day, while mudjacked slabs need about a day to set up. Leveling is maintenance work, so a permit is rarely needed.
Can every sunken slab be lifted?
Not every one. If the slab is broken into many pieces, crumbling, or sank because of a larger foundation problem, lifting it will not last, and replacement or foundation repair is the honest answer. We tell you that before any work starts.
